Eugene Ferla, Director and Chief Investment Officer
Eugene has over twenty years of experience in banking, capital markets and asset management. He has developed a valuable network in local and international finance having worked in Melbourne, Sydney and New York. In his time in banking, Eugene traded foreign exchange and derivatives covering a range of commodities including precious metals, base metals, oil, agricultural and softs. More importantly, he gained an appreciation of specific commodity dynamics and nuances and the impact that changing expectations had on the traded price. Eugene is a long-time equity investor and now serves as Chief Investment Officer managing multi-asset portfolios for a range of clients and Portfolio Manager to the PPF Funds.
He is an Authorised Representative (#252549), Responsible Manager and Director of PPF Asset Management Limited and PPF Advisory Pty Ltd. Eugene holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance, is a Certified Practicing Accountant, a Certified Financial Planner and a qualified Finance Broker with the Finance Brokers Association of Australia.
